BASIC MISSION/JOB PURPOSE:

Financial Analyst (Junior) responsible for a range of activities including data gathering and organizing information from across the organization, generating analyses, supporting financial planning, and providing insightful presentations to facilitate informed decision making.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Revenue and Gross Profit analysis, while monitoring KPIs and various operational performance metrics.
• Support monthly closing processes collaborating with Finance Team and participating in respective reporting activities.
• Participate actively in business planning and forecasting events following organizational guidelines and assumptions.
• Provide variance analysis of actual results vs any benchmark in scope to identify trends and areas of improvement.
• Generate ad hoc financial analysis and management reports according to daily requirements.
• Propose ways and support initiatives to improve internal processes and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with business operations and other departments to support financial performance.

PROFILE / COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:

• University degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration/Accounting, or in another related quantitative field.
• Post Graduate degree (MSc, MA, MBA) will be considered an asset.
• 2 years of working experience at a relative role preferred.
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• PC literacy: Excellent knowledge of Excel is a prerequisite (familiarity with macros will be a plus), ERP experience is desirable.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and with a business partner mindset.
