The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving logistics processes and systems within DIAVIPETHI’s port and warehouse operations. The role supports the development of efficient workflows, layout optimization, and data-driven decision-making to enhance logistics performance, ensure compliance, and reduce operational costs.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and space optimization
- Coordinate with port operations, subcontractors, and port users to align logistics activities with business requirements
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, procedures, and instructions
- Provide technical input for subcontractor selection, contract management, and performance evaluation
- Maintain accurate logistics data and use performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve operational efficiency
- Support the implementation and proper use of logistics and warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP)
- Lead, train, and evaluate logistics personnel to ensure high performance, safety awareness, and continuous improvement
- Prepare regular reports and recommendations on logistics performance, resource utilization, and process improvement initiatives
- Participate in logistics projects aimed at improving workflows, cost efficiency, and service quality
Required Competence
Educational
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse layout design, and port logistics
- Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems (familiarity with SAP is a plus)
- Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken)

Work experience
