Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities 

• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and space optimization 

• Coordinate with port operations, subcontractors, and port users to align logistics activities with business requirements 

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, procedures, and instructions 

• Provide technical input for subcontractor selection, contract management, and performance evaluation 

• Maintain accurate logistics data and use performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve operational efficiency 

• Support the implementation and proper use of logistics and warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) 

• Lead, train, and evaluate logistics personnel to ensure high performance, safety awareness, and continuous improvement 

• Prepare regular reports and recommendations on logistics performance, resource utilization, and process improvement initiatives 

• Participate in logistics projects aimed at improving workflows, cost efficiency, and service quality 

Required Competence  

Educational 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field 

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse layout design, and port logistics 

• Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems (familiarity with SAP is a plus) 

• Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken)

Work experience 

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or port operations — preferably in an industrial or maritime environment
