This role is part of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Production Planner
Purpose and Objective
Plan timely purchase of the raw materials. Manage the raw materials inventory level to optimize service levels and minimize working capital.
Key Performance Indicators
- Effective Capacity and Production Planning.
- Accurate and timely output on Management reporting including inventory analysis.
- Inventory handling against production plan.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Experience of SAP System with exposure to supply chain/production/material master/bill of materials/warehouse - internal and external.
- Participate in S&OP meetings.
- Manage accurately the SAP demand systems input data ensuring that data in system are correct and updated.
- Update forecast in SAP, 12 months rolling forecast at least.
- Follow-up on new product launches.
- Update monthly capacity chart.
- Communicate forecast information and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and supply chain teams.
- Prepare reports on forecast accuracy, demand trends.
- Liaise with Sales, Franchise, Logistics, and other key departments to drive alignment with business goals.
Requirements
- University Degree.
- Fluency in English written and spoken.
- Previous experience within SC Management role, working within high volume manufacturing enviroment.
- SAP knowledge/experience.
- Intercultural experience.
