Αποθήκη / LogisticsAbout MODERN FREIGHT S.A. Modern Freight S.A. in Greece is a leading provider of logistics, shipping and marine services, and we are currently looking for a Customer Service Professional to join our International Road team in Piraeus:
Responsibilities
- Coordinate safe/timely movement of cargo, via international road network
- Confirm freight bookings and tracking orders for timely delivery
- Select optimal transport routes & carriers
- Constant monitoring of shipments’ progress providing updates to all involved parties
- Handle necessary documentation (import/export paperwork, customs clearance, and invoicing)
- Work closely with the Sales Department to manage customer accounts, ensuring smooth operations
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Timely handling of customer queries and offer advice to customers depending on each case, about freight details and pick up/ delivery times
- Serve as a professional representative for the company
Requirements
- BSc or equivalent degree
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in Greek and English, (both verbally and in writing).
- A third European language is a plus
- Ability to effectively use MS Office 365 applications
