 The Role
We are currently seeking a Freight Forwarder to join our Road Freight Operations team, with a primary focus on imports from Italy. This position involves overseeing freight forwarding processes, maintaining strong communication with clients and partners, and ensuring the efficient handling of shipments.

Job Overview

As a Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing road freight operations, with a focus on Imports from Italy. This role involves

Key Responsibilities

• Manage freight forwarding operations for road freight imports.
• Investigate and plan the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering the nature of goods, cost, transit time and security.
• Negotiate transportation and handling costs.
• Coordinate offers, CMR, scheduling of deliveries, and receipts.
• Communicate with clients, agents, and carriers to ensure seamless shipment handling.
• Assign loading orders to partners and track their progress.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with logistics regulations.
• Contribute to team development and share best practices within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a Freight Forwarding or Logistics company.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Italian is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of MS Office & ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
