ABOUT THE ROLE
RECOM is currently seeking to recruit a results oriented Supply Chain Executive to join its team in the Athens branch office. The ideal candidate will be a business-oriented professional with prior experience in Supply Chain, acting as a liaison, providing product information and resolving any emerging problems that our clients might face. The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction. In detail:
- Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
- Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
- Organising the transportation, including planning vehicle routes and delivery time.
- Effectively planning and managing stock control, warehousing and customs clearance of goods worldwide.
- Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs;
- Developing business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistics problems and producing new solutions.
- Possessing a deep understanding and knowledge of incoterms.
- Working on new supply strategies.

WHAT YOU NEED
Language – Native or business fluent in English, written and spoken.
Degree – Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics/distribution management, business administration, or related field is required.
Experience – Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Logistics / Sourcing / Distribution Management.
Terminology – A deep knowledge of INCOTERMS is required.
Organisational Skills – Maximum organisational/ collaboration skills and the ability to prioritise multiple competing tasks seamlessly, with excellent attention to detail.
Attitude – Excellent problem solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills; the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
