The opportunity

We are currently seeking for a Law professional, specialized in Banking, Finance & Transactions, to support our Legal team and help our clients in law projects at different industry sectors. Actively establish internal and external relationships. Anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues. You will also keep informed of professional standards and firm policies and procedures and effectively apply this knowledge to different client situations.

 Your key responsibilities

Everything you will do will come back to providing special legal activities for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you will be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. To qualify for the role you must have

• 2-4 years professional law working experience in Transactions & Finance (said working experience excludes internship period)

• a broad understanding of banking law

• knowlegde of main elements of corporate law shall be considered a strong asset 

• prior involvement in corporate transactions (M&A) 

• experience in transactional documents and process as well as project finance, corporate finance and in general financing agreements

• willingness to embrace a new challenge, in a non-traditional legal services environment

• strong academic record including degree (bachelor) in Law from a Greek university

• LLM in Corporate/Commercial and/or Banking & Finance (preferably from a top ranked university)

• substantial MS office knowledge

• excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English

• excellent communication and prioritization skills

• strong teamwork and project management skills

• results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy

• self-motivation and desire to exceed expectations
