RECOM is currently seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice and support to all business units, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex legal matters. In detail:

• Draft, review, and negotiate day-to-day commercial contracts and other business-related documents in close cooperation with the company’s departments (Project Development, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Technical, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales), in both Greek and English;
• Handle corporate affairs matters;
• Assist operational teams in the day-to-day management of projects;
• Interpret laws, rulings and regulations in the context of working on several legal issues;
• Liaise with external lawyers in cases requiring external legal support;
• Represent the company before Authorities;  

Education & Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in law from a Greek University;
• LL.M. in commercial law;
• Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece;
• PQ experience of minimum 10 years in the fields of civil, commercial, and transaction laws gained in a well structured corporate legal department with international exposure;
• Strong experience and knowledge in drafting and handling commercial contracts;
• Thorough knowledge of corporate law;
• Experience in litigation;
• Understanding of the energy sector regulatory framework desirable;
• Working experience in a corporate environment;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek & English;
