Executive Level Team on behalf of its client, an innovative travel services company, is looking for a Full Stack Developer for its growing team. 

FullStack Developer

The role

The FullStack Developer will hold a key figure in proceeding with the necessary enhancements and changes to provide a flawless experience to the user. The company’s engineers are mostly back-end oriented working on logic, APIs and databases while building functional UI on React for a smaller amount of time. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve application features for our core products using industry best practices
• Develop RESTful & Tested APIs with JSONapi and document them in Swagger
• Re-factor, maintain and upgrade existing code
• Work on Pull Requests comments and review other engineers code
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure feature technical feasibility and trade-offs between requirements and implementation
• Participate team’’s ceremonies (planning, kick-off meetings, retrospectives & demos)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Ruby and the Rails framework 
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Good programming and scripting skills
• Testing mindset and an eye for clean code (Minitest)
• Comfortable with Git
• Experience developing APIs for mobile applications (JSONapi)
• Knowledge of Sidekiq and ElasticSearch
• Familiarity with front-end technologies - React (JavaScript / Typescript, HTML, CSS and jQuery)
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• Experience with any modern MVC Framework such as: Node / Express (Javascript) Symfony2 / Laravel (PHP), Django (python) (will be considered as a plus)
