Executive Level Team on behalf of its client, an innovative company in the field of Electricity Supply and Trading, in the Gas Energy Sector and soon enough in the field of Telecommunications, is looking for a Network Engineer for its growing team.

Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, operate and support networking infrastructure (switching and routing equipment) that supports the needs of telecommunications systems & applications
• Develop, operate and support transport IP network for the interconnection of company with other service and Internet upstream providers
• Evaluate and select solutions and architectures for the network and the required infrastructures that will support the telecommunications services
• Manage network IP addressing, IP traffic management and RIPE update
• Conduct tests on new equipment for its introduction into the network
• Perform documentation and implementation of operation procedures for the network technologies deployed

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Ethernet & IP technologies, ideally in a Telecommunication Service Provider or related technology vendor
• Excellent knowledge of Ethernet & IP technologies and more specifically IPv4/IPv6, Interconnection, IP traffic routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, VLAN, STP etc.) & DNS, DHCP, AAA protocols
• Very good knowledge in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of IP network equipment
• Knowledge of security principles and technologies in networks providing telecommunication services
• University Degree or relevant, in Engineering / Technology / Informatics direction
• Fluency in English
• Related Technology certifications will be considered an asset
