Executive Level Team on behalf of its client, a pioneer in retail and e-commerce services, is looking for a DevOps Engineer.

DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will help drive how the company deploys, verifies, and monitors applications and services. He will interface with all stakeholders to define DevOps processes and help shape the development culture. He will assist in the ongoing improvement of CI/CD environment provisioning and development workflows, ensuring the appropriate levels of monitoring and alerting set up for all applications across a mix of physical servers, private cloud and public cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy updates and fixes
• Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
• Work with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Βe involved in project roadmap decisions

Requirements:

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Proficient with git and git workflows
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS products including EC2, ECS, RDS, ELB Load Balancer, Route 53, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudFront will be considered an advantage
• Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
