About your future role

Before you start working in our Greece Platforms department, you will go through well-structured education that will prepare you for your new role. This role provides you with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining work from home and from the office. Your local team will be based in Greece.

 

Your key responsibilities in this role will be

  • Managing the IT Software Development team responsible for the delivery of web applications & services in Microsoft Technology stack in the Cards Payment industry, through a wide project portfolio
  • Coordinating the team’s delivery in the following functional areas:

-        Merchant Boarding

-        Issuing Origination

-        Enterprise Service Bus for Issuing & Acquiring Business

-        Merchant & Cardholder Portals

-        Alerts & Notifications

-        Fraud Case Management Tools

-        Tokenization

  • Performing resource planning of the team, given the incoming project demand
  • Closely collaborating with top management for decision-making and progress reporting
  • Architecture & design complex large-scale applications & systems
  • Ensuring the stability, performance & production operations of the applications, under the team’s responsibility
  • Driving the CI/CD enablement of the Software Development team, given the support of existing DevOps teams
  • Building, developing and growing excellent engineering teams through best practices in people management
  • Driving and fostering continuous team innovation in technology, processes and software products
  • Building the team members’ skills and knowledge through dedicated training paths and targeted project assignments

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role

  • Bachelor’s Degree at Engineering & Technology and/or similar
  • At least twelve (12) years of professional experience in Software Development using Microsoft stack of technologies
  • At least five (5) years of work experience in leading Software Development teams of 10+ members
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Technology stack (C#.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server etc.) and web development frameworks (Angular, ASP.Net MVC, Blazor)

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out

  • Working effectively with others in a team environment while enhancing a positive atmosphere
  • Very good understanding of corporate business processes and functions
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects
  • Excellent oral & written command of English language
