Position Summary

• The Software Developer UI is responsible for a range of development tasks in projects associated with design proposals, testing, feasibility analysis, modeling, sample building etc... Develops and implement new methods, designs and products – with a specific focus on the user interface components
• Participates in integrated project resp. Scrum teams
• Writes technical specifications and analyzes / interprets test results

Responsibilities in Detail:

• Creates detailed technical specifications, requirements feasibility checks and time estimations
• Develops appealing and modern web or mobile applications and user interface elements or functionalities using a variety of services frameworks and components or other platforms targeting cloud or hybrid scenarios
• Creates guidelines concerning UI development, design and layers
• Analyses and takes decisions regarding reintegration of important partner developments
• Evaluates third party products for possible integration
• Creates prototypes for presentations and further decisions / tests
• Delivers internal trainings needed for Know-How-Transfer
• Provides second level product support for internal departments
• Is involved in product roadmap and release planning
• Delivers detailed planning and update information to project managers
• Is able to provide project management of certain projects in design responsibility
• Is able to assume responsibility for the involvement / co-ordination of further developers
• Develops and maintains good relationships with partners, OEMs and important customers in case of technical requirements

Skills and Specifications:

• Well-founded IT education or equal qualification
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Good level of technology know-how and practical experience with C#/.NET using .Net frameworks > 5.0, .Net Core > 2.0 and ideally different database and storage technologies such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Blobstorage and others
• Practical experience using Client-Server programming technologies with a strong focus and also personal interest in web and mobile UI technologies and frameworks especially Angular, HTML5, CSS3
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or similar platform services, working with security certificates, token or cookie-based authentications, Kubernetes and Docker is an advantage
• Ability to solve complex tasks and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities with ease
• Solution orientation, strong organizational skills and keeping track ability
• Abstract thinking and analytical ability to decompose complex problems – creative, out of the box thinking
• Flexible person who is a team player, but also capable to work independently
• Quick learner and adopting it in practice
• Sound spoken and written English
