Developer / Senior Developer

Position Summary

• The Developer / Senior Developer will contribute to new product development
• Will contribute to development and customization of new projects
• Will provide second level support to customers in regard to change requests development and bug solutions

Responsibilities in Detail:

• Gathering, analyzing, and defining business requirements and then convert them into system requirements
• Observation of changes and future planning in Dynamics NAV technical environment
• Analysis and decision regarding reintegration of important partner developments
• Evaluation of third-party products for possible integration
• Description of detailed technical specifications, feasibility check and time estimation
• Prototyping for presentations and further decisions / tests
• Involvement in product roadmap and release planning
• Delivering of internal trainings needed for Know How-Transfer
• Second level product support for internal departments
• Design and evaluation of logical data models
• Taking the responsibility of involvement / co-ordination of further developers
• Participating in the planning of data mapping and conversion
• Creation of guidelines concerning development, design and layers
• Creating and maintaining data naming standards

Skills and Specifications:

• Know- How in enterprise business processes (preferably ERP-Systems, C/Side NAV, AL extension development)
• Profound Microsoft platform IT experience (Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server), Microsoft certifications beneficial
• Automotive process knowledge (not mandatory)
• Proven practical experience with Client-Server programming technologies
• Ability to solve complex tasks and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities with ease
• Solution orientation, strong organizational skills and keeping track ability
• Abstract thinking and analytical ability to decompose complex problems – creative, out of the box thinking
• Flexible person who is a team player, but also capable to work independently
• Quick learner and adopting it in practice
• Sound spoken and written English
