We are looking for:

 «System Administrator»

The life of a System Administrator @LEROY MERLIN :

• As a member of the team in charge of digital technologies and operations, is responsible for installing, upgrading and monitoring software and hardware as well as assisting with data backup and recovery

• Contributing to the performance of our information system by the ability to improve our infrastructure and to fix the systems incidents and/or ticket in the given SLO (service level objectives), and by the contribution to the quality of our users experience

• System monitoring and maintenance including configuration & security management, patching, automation, hardening and system upgrades

• Ensuring overall system and server uptime, availability, reliability and security

• Keeping updated, accurate and reliable backups of application and databases

• Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, and partner from the corporate level etc. for specific requirement

• Managing the relationship with our partners and providers in order to reach the given SLO/SLA

• Documenting policies and procedures

• Training the support specialists

• Managing your ticket portfolio and backlog in order to reach the given SLO (service level objectives)

• Troubleshooting server-side issues as they arise.

• Organizing and scheduling upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work

• Performing troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)

• Identifying computer or network equipment shortages and place orders

 We will have the perfect match if you have:

• BSc degree in Computer Science or related field

• 3 - 5 years of working experience as a system administrator

• Knowledge of Windows & Linux servers operating systems and administration

• Knowledge of networking protocols and basic network configuration

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware) and Data storage systems

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) or Google Cloud is a plus

• Fluent in Greek & English
