Job Description

A day in the life of an Application Support Agent

Τhe Applicative Support Agent will ensure handling of tickets at 2nd level support and leasing with developers and business team.

Your main duties will be to:

  • Receive incidents/requests via ticketing system
  • Forward incidents/requests to other support services
  • Manage and follow-up of registered incidents
  • Create tickets, ensuring full traceability (logical link, reference) between the different ticketing systems
  • Contact/respond to the end-users via the ticketing system
  • Assess the priority of the tickets for different ticketing systems

Qualifications

If you have:

  • IT degree or degree in relevant field
  • Comprehension of ITIL support processes (incident management, problem management, Change management)
  • Experience in Ticketing System (eg: JIRA)
  • Knowledge of Database Administration (SQL)
  • Ability to learn and understand the business processes and rules underlying the workflows of the used application
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & oral)
  • The competence to structure information in writing 
  • Good communication and interaction skills
  • The capability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • The capacity to work according to processes and procedures
