Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of combined experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, and IT Security.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, routing protocols, and network architecture.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and techniques, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and vulnerability scanning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues independently.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical and security concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills

• Relevant networking and cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, CISSP, CEH) are highly desired.
• Deep knowledge of IP routing, subnetting, and VLAN configurations.
• Hands-on experience with application delivery controllers, load balancers (e.g., Citrix NetScaler), web application firewalls, and security appliances (e.g., Fortigate, Fortiweb).
• Knowledge of secure cloud architecture (e.g., AWS security best practices).
• Familiarization with incident response frameworks.
• Familiarization with JIRA Software for issue tracking and Office 365 is beneficial.

Main Responsibilities

• Network & Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Manage both internal and cloud-facing network infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime, connectivity, and secure data transmission.
• Security Management: Implement, manage, and maintain robust security measures to protect the company's IT systems, cloud environments, and data from unauthorized access, malware, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Threat Monitoring & Vulnerability Assessment: Continuously monitor networks for security breaches or intrusions. Conduct regular vulnerability scans and security audits to identify and patch system weaknesses, and lead the incident response process when a breach occurs.
• Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor network traffic, identify bandwidth bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve overall network efficiency and reliability.
• Policy & Compliance: Develop, enforce, and update IT security policies. Ensure network infrastructure complies with relevant industry data protection standards.
• Documentation and Support: Maintain accurate documentation of network architecture, IP schemas, and security protocols. Generate reports on network performance and security incidents. Provide troubleshooting assistance for network/security-related issues to internal users and clients.
