Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or IT Systems Administrator.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex server and cloud infrastructure issues independently.
Desired Skills
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, FSX, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desired.
- Proven experience with Windows server administration and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarization with Citrix, Office 365, and JIRA Software is beneficial.
Main Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain the company's IT and AWS cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for cloud deployment.
- Server Configuration and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
- Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve overall system efficiency and reliability.
- Documentation and Support: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and configurations. Provide technical support to internal users and clients regarding infrastructure issues.
