ALUMIL is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT department.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, ensuring optimal performance of hardware, software, and network systems within our organization.
You will interact directly with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, while collaborating with team members to maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely first and second-level IT support to users, addressing hardware, software, and network problems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and inventory of IT assets.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
- Train and guide users on IT policies and procedures.
- Monitor IT infrastructure performance and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and common office software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are advantageous.
