As a Senior Consultant in our Tax Technology Consulting team, you will work as the DevOps & Platform Engineer for our AI platform used across professional services.

The platform includes a Python backend, an Angular frontend, supporting services, Docker-based containerization, Azure Cloud infrastructure, and multiple data stores. You will own the entire infrastructure and CI/CD landscape — from Azure cloud resources and Docker containers to build pipelines, monitoring, security operations, and environment management.

This is a foundational role — you will define the DevOps culture and practices for the platform from the ground up.

#KeyResponsibilities

• Own and manage the Azure Cloud infrastructure — including App Service, Container Apps, networking, and resource provisioning.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps Pipelines) across multiple repositories.
• Manage Docker containerization and orchestration for all platform services.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Bicep) for version-controlled, repeatable infrastructure.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting using Azure Application Insights and custom dashboards.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, secrets rotation, and security headers.
• Own environment management — dev, staging, and production.
• Build automated testing gates in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct security scanning, vulnerability assessments, and dependency audits.
• Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, and rollback procedures.

#RequiredSkills

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (App Service, Container Apps, AKS, or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency with Docker and containerization/
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform or Azure Bicep).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of certificate management, secrets management, and security best practices.
• Experience managing multiple deployment environments (dev, staging, production).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

#PreferredSkills

• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) for container orchestration at scale.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools (SAST/DAST) and vulnerability management.
• Experience with load testing, performance testing, and capacity planning.
• Database performance tuning experience (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis).
• Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Cost optimization experience in cloud environments.
• Experience with AI/ML platform infrastructure requirements.
• Familiarity with log aggregation and structured logging practices.
