QA Engineer, FintechCrafts, N. Irakleio - Athens, Hybrid

Recruitment Services, on behalf of FintechCrafts, is seeking a QA Engineer to join its growing engineering team and contribute to the development and evolution of innovative fintech products in the Capital Markets space.

FintechCrafts was founded by a team of experienced brokerage industry consultants and software engineers with deep expertise in financial technology. With over a decade of experience in the Forex and Capital Markets sector, the team identified a major gap in the market and set out to build innovative platforms that bring modern digital tools to the online brokering ecosystem.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As QA Engineer you will be part of an outstanding, all-seniors software team and you will join the Quality Assurance automation team, supporting business objectives while providing expertise in full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Monitor debugging process results
• Work together with software developers to verify quality of deliverable in different platforms
• Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Web development technologies (Javascript/HTML/CSS)
• Knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• A strong sense of ownership in your work
• Experience in version control and source code management platforms (Git, Github)
• Experience with QA automation tools, e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Katalon, Cypress.io, Postman, etc
• You stay up to date on the latest technology, trends and keep yourself informed about best practices during app development
• Have a positive mindset, be proactive and a team player
• Be ambitious, hardworking and enthusiastic
