IT Manager

Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, Messinia, Greece - Onsite

Recruitment Services, on behalf of Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, one of the most prestigious and luxurious resorts in the Mediterranean, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join its team and oversee the efficient operation of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, applications, and telecommunications systems.

Located in a world-class luxury destination, the role will support the seamless operation of advanced IT systems that power an exceptional guest experience. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security and performance of all technology services that support both hotel operations and the guest experience within a luxury hospitality environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily IT operations and support, including first-line support for hotel staff and second-line support for guests.
  • Monitor and maintain core IT infrastructure (servers, endpoints, network devices) to ensure high availability and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage, support, and troubleshoot key hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, and VoIP platforms.
  • Configure and maintain telephony systems, including IP phones, call routing, and voicemail services.
  • Ensure the completion of operational IT tasks (daily, weekly, monthly) and adherence to brand and corporate IT standards.
  • Manage and mentor the local IT team, allocating resources across operational support, projects, and maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate IT change management, system upgrades, and deployments while minimizing impact on hotel operations.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize network infrastructure, including port-level configurations and connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and corporate IT teams for escalations, system improvements, and technical support.
  • Monitor system alerts and implement corrective actions based on severity and operational impact.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and compliance, including vulnerability assessments, patch management, endpoint protection, and adherence to standards such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
  • Deliver IT security awareness guidance to hotel staff and maintain proper documentation of IT procedures and systems.

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an IT Manager or similar IT leadership role.
  • Proven experience supervising or coordinating an IT support team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server environments, networking (LAN/WAN), and virtualization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience providing hardware and software technical support in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, or VoIP platforms is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of data communications equipment, protocols, and IT infrastructure operations.
  • Experience or familiarity with Audio Visual (AV) systems and event technology is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Valid EU passport or Hellenic residence permit.
