Are you ready to discover the role of a Azure & Microsoft 365 Security Engineer in Netcompany?

As an Azure & Microsoft 365 Security Engineer, you will join our Cloud Security & Managed Services team.

Your role will focus on protecting enterprise cloud environments by designing, implementing, and operating security controls across Azure and Microsoft 365. You will work across identity, endpoint, data protection, monitoring, and governance domains, helping organizations strengthen their security posture and align with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, and DORA.

You will contribute to architecture design, lead technical implementations, and support security transformations.

As an Azure & Microsoft 365 Security Engineer you will:

• Design and implement Zero Trust security architectures across Azure and Microsoft 365
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Entra ID security controls including Conditional Access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management, and Identity Protection
• Implement and operate Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender for Cloud
• Design and maintain data protection controls using Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention
• Integrate Microsoft Sentinel for cloud security monitoring and incident detection
• Develop security monitoring use cases, alert tuning logic, and incident response workflows
• Perform security posture assessments using Microsoft Secure Score and Defender for Cloud recommendations
• Conduct security reviews of Azure resources including networking, storage, compute, and identity
• Support vulnerability management and remediation efforts in cloud workloads
• Automate security operations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting
• Participate in cloud security incident response and root cause analysis
• Prepare security architecture documentation and operational runbooks

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID and M365 Security Tools (DLP, Defender, AIP, InTune)
• Practical experience implementing Conditional Access and MFA policies
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Defender security suite
• Understanding of cloud security principles and Zero Trust architecture
• Experience with RBAC and least privilege access design
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

Relevant certifications such as:

• AZ 500 Microsoft Azure Security Engineer
• SC 200 Security Operations Analyst
• SC 300 Identity and Access Administrator
• SC 100 Cybersecurity Architect
