In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an experienced IT Infrastructure Supervisor.
Position Summary
The IT Infrastructure Supervisor is responsible for supporting the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role provides technical expertise in networking, systems administration, cloud services, and Microsoft 365 management while ensuring high-quality support to internal users and operational departments.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Provide second‑level technical support for hardware, software, network, and cloud-related incidents and service requests.
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless networks, and network performance.
- Configure, support, and maintain VoIP systems, i.e Grandstream AP’s, extensions, and PBX configurations.
- Assist with the administration of hybrid server environments, including virtualization, backups, storage, patching, and system updates.
- Support Microsoft 365 environments (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams), including user lifecycle management and application security policies.
- Ensure proper operation of key business systems such as PMS, POS, back-office applications, and guest-facing technologies (where applicable).
- Perform root‑cause analysis on recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
- Participate in IT projects, infrastructure improvements, system upgrades, and the rollout of new technologies.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation including network diagrams, asset inventories, configuration records, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with external vendors, ISPs, and service partners for escalations, maintenance tasks, and system support.
- Follow IT security policies, enforce data protection practices, and contribute to cybersecurity awareness within the organization.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Typically, 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network operations.
- Good knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), firewall administration—preferably Fortinet—and understanding of network security principles.
- Hands‑on experience with access points, VoIP systems and telephony support.
- Competence in Microsoft 365 administration (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
- Experience with Windows environments, virtualization, and backup technologies.
- Familiarity with hospitality systems (e.g., PMS, POS) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Understanding of ITIL processes, helpdesk workflows, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Fluency in English; additional languages considered beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking and effective troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
- Calm and professional demeanor, especially during technical incidents or outages.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and non‑technical users.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer‑focused attitude.
- Proactive approach to learning new tools, technologies, and best practices.
