IT Director

Ravenna is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, and we are looking for an IT Director to lead our technology strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s IT applications, systems, and infrastructure and play a crucial role in aligning technology strategies with the organization’s goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing and owning the IT operations strategy
• Managing the development and implementation of IT strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives; Assessing technology needs and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Managing all IT projects from initiation to completion; coordinating with stakeholders, participating in meetings, prioritizing, allocating resources, monitoring and ensuring that projects are delivered on time
• Evaluating current business processes to identify opportunities for digital enhancement and advising stakeholders on optimal digital investments to boost productivity and improve customer experience
• Managing the collaboration with other departments and external partners to deliver innovative and impactful solutions
• Ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all IT systems and services including core business applications (mainly ERP and reporting solutions), networks, servers and hardware
• Leading strategic vendor and service provider relationships, negotiating high-value contracts and licenses related to hardware, software, and IT services
• Ensuring the implementation and auditing of security policies, protocols, and controls across all IT infrastructure and assets
• Overseeing day-to-day IT operations; handling incident response and problem resolution
• Developing and managing the department’s budget and making informed decisions about technology investments

Requirements

• At least 10 years of proven ΙΤ experience and at least three years in a senior IT leadership role
• University degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Master's degree will be preferred
• Deep strategic understanding of the latest technologies for IT systems, management, and security
• Strong leadership with a hands-on, forward-thinking approach to IT
• Strong Project Management skills with proven ability to prioritize and monitor projects
• Strong problem solving skills and result oriented
• Ability to handle risk, control costs and adhere to timelines
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
