REGIONAL IT NETWORK MANAGER (EUROPE / UK)

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Regional IT Network Manager will oversee all IT, network, and telecommunications operations across the Europe/UK region for Karma Group properties. This role is responsible for managing resort-level IT infrastructure, hospitality systems, guest-facing technologies, vendor coordination, and ensuring exceptional uptime and service quality. The position requires strong technical expertise, effective leadership, and the ability to partner closely with multiple internal stakeholders, Group IT, and third-party vendors.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Budget & Regional IT Management

  • Lead the creation and management of the Regional IT Budget, including cost contributions from each resort.
  • Oversee regional telecommunications infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Internet, printing solutions, IT suppliers, contractors, and telco providers.

Hospitality Systems & Guest-Facing Technologies

  • Manage all hospitality systems across the region—including PMS, POS, Tiered Bandwidth Internet, HSIA Solutions, and Video/TV on Demand—in alignment with Group IT.
  • Drive innovation and enhanced customer experiences through technology upgrades and improved digital guest touchpoints.

Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Lead and execute regional IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Liaise with Karma Group stakeholders and management to gather requirements, provide updates, and collaborate on business outcomes.
  • Communicate and coordinate with business partners and third-party vendors to ensure service quality.

Vendor & Third-Party Management

  • Manage external vendors supporting remote or international resorts to ensure service effectiveness.
  • Ensure all vendors meet performance standards and contractual obligations.

Strategy & Communication

  • Maintain effective communication with all Karma Group executives and management teams.
  • Contribute to the annual Group IT planning process and provide insights into regional IT needs and long-term strategy.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • End-to-end management of all Resort Internet & Telecom Technology across all regional properties.
  • Ensure all internet connections at all resorts are configured for full auto-failover.
  • Oversee the LAN environments for all regional resorts, ensuring seamless internal connectivity.
  • Implement continuous monitoring and alerting for all internet connections across all properties.
  • Manage Google G Suite (Workspace) Administration for all regional employees.
  • Ensure strict GDPR compliance across systems, processes, and data management.
  • Achieve and maintain 99.99999% uptime for all internet connections in every area of each resort and office.
  • Implement and manage the Resort Internet SOP consistently across all regional resorts.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT Network Management, ideally in hospitality, multi-property environments, or geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience working with international teams and remote resort IT operations.
  • Strong expertise in WiFi and Internet Connectivity Systems
  • Advanced knowledge of LAN Management and LAN hardware
  • Experience managing WAN, failover systems, and multi-site network infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with PMS and POS systems, especially Guestline PMS and POS platforms used within hospitality
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite) Administration
  • Strong background in partner & vendor management
  • Solid understanding of GDPR compliance and data security best practices
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management abilities
  • Strong project management and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple remote resort locations
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
