About the Job

On behalf of our client, one of the Big Four consulting firms based in Greece, we are seeking a Data Engineer to join the team and work remotely.

Role Summary

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-impact data projects, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of scalable cloud data platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust data pipelines and analytics solutions on modern data ecosystems.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop solutions using Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of data platforms.
• Perform data quality checks, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to junior team members.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Pipelines) is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.
• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL or ANSI SQL) and experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable).
