As Senior Associate, Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and developer-friendly documentation for AI capabilities, SDKs, modules, and solution patterns within the AI Architecture & Solution Design department. You will work closely with AI Architects, Solution Designers, and Software Engineers to ensure that technical artefacts are well-structured, discoverable, and actionable for internal product teams.

Your responsibilities include producing documentation for SDKs and modules (including those contributed by the community), indexing solution patterns with supporting material, and ensuring consistency with established standards. You will also contribute to knowledge surfacing and enablement, helping build tools and processes that make documentation easy to find and use. Additionally, you will support basic operations management activities, gaining exposure to how documentation standards are operationalized across Creation Centers and digital teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Documentation Development

• Create and maintain high-quality documentation for SDKs, modules, and solution patterns, including usage guides, integration steps, evaluation notes, and troubleshooting tips.
• Work with community contributors to improve documentation quality for externally developed components; ensure alignment with internal standards.
• Produce code samples, quick-starts, and developer guides to accelerate adoption.

2) Structure & Indexing

• Apply established Confluence structure and tagging standards to ensure documentation is logically organized and easily searchable.
• Index solution patterns with supporting material on “when, why, and how” to use them, based on guidance from Solution Designers and AI Architects.
• Maintain cross-links between SDK documentation, solution patterns, and related design artefacts.

3) Enablement & Knowledge Surfacing

• Contribute to enablement tools (e.g., intelligent agents) that help teams identify the right solution pattern or module and surface relevant documentation.
• Support creation of pattern libraries and exemplars for reuse across product teams.

4) Operational Support & Feedback

• Assist in basic operations management tasks (e.g., readiness checks, documentation audits, feedback collection) to understand how standards are applied in real-world delivery.
• Capture feedback from Creation Centers and digital teams; propose improvements to documentation templates and structure.

5) Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with AI Architecture Operations Lead and Manager, Technical Writer to uphold documentation standards and templates.
• Partner with AI Capability Architecture Lead and Embedded AI Architecture Lead to ensure documentation reflects technical realities and design intent.
• Participate in retrospectives and process reviews; contribute ideas to improve documentation quality and adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical writing or documentation roles within software development environments.
• Strong ability to produce clear, structured, and developer-friendly content for APIs, SDKs, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; attention to detail and consistency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML or GenAI projects; understanding of common patterns (RAG, agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks).
• Hands-on experience with Confluence or similar knowledge management platforms.
• Background in software engineering or prior experience as a developer is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release documentation practices.
• Exposure to regulated environments and audit-ready documentation standards.
