About the Role

We are looking for an IT Officer with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our resort's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of all IT systems that support both guest services and internal operations.

This role is critical to delivering a seamless guest experience, supporting hotel management systems, and maintaining reliable network and infrastructure performance across the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the IT operations in the project scope launch, technical strategy, staff support requirements with the new IT initiatives.
• Support the IT department to uphold IT Policy & Procedures.
• Responsible for smooth functioning and operations, guest internet, Property Management Systems-PMS, Points of Sale-POS, IPTV, ERP, Telephony system and other software vendors.
• He/She will be responsible for Information Technology issues, products, and services at the property and will provide support of all property/site systems, network, enhancements, hardware, and software support.
• Responds courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from guests and system users.
• Ensures cleanliness of all data equipment and computer rooms
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Responsible for overseeing and handling network configuration, Workstations, Networking equipment, PABX and support for the desktop/ infrastructure.
• He/She will maintain inventory of all hardware products.
• Responsible for day-to-day support
• Identifies and implements solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of computer equipment.
• Ensure that policies and procedures relating to IT compliance are followed.
• Is aware of IT Security Policies and ensures implementation through regular staff training.
• Able to perform other IT or Systems related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology field.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in IT support roles.
• Experience with Hospitality related applications and/or system (PMS, POS, Key card, PBX, Voice mail) will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft Office and basic networking skills.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Fluent in English.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

• Familiar with the Network fundamentals, general network set up and device configuration.
• Good knowledge of server hardware, Disk storage technology, IoT devices will be considered a plus
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT/6 cabling, Fiber Cabling, wireless networks, network switches, wan/lan, firewall and VPN applications will be considered a plus
