About the Company:

Constrat, since 2001 has been active in the field of water resources management and is one of the most important companies in the market, maintaining cooperation with more than 72 municipalities and 101 Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Companies.

It develops software for "smart" network management and represents more than 20 world-class manufacturers of hydraulic and electromechanical components.

You will be an important part of the R&D of CONSTRAT designing, developing and verifying connectivity and positioning solutions to make IoT become a reality. You will be part of the entire product development life cycle, from inception to production.

Responsibilities:

• Development of software architectures and implementations in connectivity and positioning solutions for the Internet of Things.
• Coordination and collaboration with other system disciplines through requirement specifications, design and test plans and documentation.
• Sample application development and feature demonstrations for proof-of-concepts.
• Accompanying product development teams throughout implementation and verification.
• Support of application engineering in dealing with specific customer requests (solution design, design reviews, issue resolution).
• Assistance in assembly of electronic/electrical parts or devices
• Root Cause Analysis and reporting for failed products (RMA).
• Iot Platforms Deployment and Administration
• Prototype testing and debugging.

Requirements:

• BsC in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded hardware (e.g. Altium, Eagle, etc.) and software development.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming of embedded, real-time systems.
• Deep understanding of wireless communication protocols (especially LPWANs)
• Familiarity with use of laboratory testing and measuring equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer etc.
• Knowledge in IP networking, cloud computing.
• Good interpersonal skills. Be able to collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Experience in electronic component selection and electronics repair (by soldering iron, reflow, reballing etc.)
• Providing technical support in developing and production of IoT products to external partners (e.g. co-productions with third party companies)
• Very good Knowledge of English (oral & written)
• Military service fulfilled

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in JavaScript and associated frameworks.
• Have architected and developed embedded, real-time systems.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on in LoRaWAN and/or wMBus communication protocols.
