#AboutYourRole

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Consultant to design, build, and optimize scalable data models and ETL/ELT solutions.

In this role, you will help create reliable, high-quality data pipelines and architectures that support key business decisions.

As part of a lean and collaborative team, you will work across the full data lifecycle—including data modeling, SaaS BI platforms, and ETL development—bringing both technical expertise and practical guidance to clients.

 

#KeyResponsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows while following best practices in data modeling, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
• Apply strong data quality and governance practices to ensure clean, accurate, and reliable datasets.
• Design and optimize data models in data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud environments.
• Work directly with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Manage multiple projects across different industries, ensuring timelines and expectations are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and deliver new data-driven features and solutions.
• Monitor pipeline performance and suggest improvements to increase stability and scalability.
• Stay updated on new data engineering tools and technologies and recommend improvements where relevant.

 

#RequiredSkills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Science, STEM, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with advanced T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, joins, analytic functions, CTEs).
• Good understanding of database optimization (indexes, partitioning, performance tuning).
• Experience working with Python or PySpark.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT design and experience using industry tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric).
• Ability to contribute to conceptual and logical data models and maintain consistency across architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience extracting data using REST APIs, including handling authentication, pagination, and errors.

 

#PreferredSkills

• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Microsoft Fabric certification (DP-600 or DP-700).
• Knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and M language.
• Experience with cloud-based DevOps practices or version control (e.g., Git).
