We are currently recruiting for the position of: Senior Engineer, IT&T Network, Telecommunication and Security Support Services with the following responsibilities:

• Ensures 24/7 operational stability, reliability, and security of all IT&T network, telecommunication, and security support services.
• Designs, implements, administers, monitors, and maintains network and security infrastructure, including of virtual/physical assets (IP Address, equipment inventory, cloud/on-premises networking, data & security, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN).
• Provides 2nd/3rd-level support and on-call coverage to maintain high availability and business continuity.
• Maintains the internal documentation and applying implementations of Standard Operating Procedures for all network technologies
• Ensures compliance with internal IT, cybersecurity, architecture standards, and external regulatory requirements, including ISO/IEC frameworks (ISO/IEC 2000, 9001, 27001, etc.).
• Develops, tests, and maintains related contingency and disaster recovery plans and manages inventory and maintenance history, network diagrams & working instructions.
• Participates in and follows change and incident management activities, ensuring adherence to lifecycle procedures for implementation and maintenance.
• Proposes and delivers new services, technologies or improvements to enhance performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Manages vendor and integrator relationships to ensure timely hardware/software delivery, proper maintenance of equipment, and adherence to agreed service levels.
• Acts as Project Manager when required, owning projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget compliance, and high-quality outcomes.
• Supports the Head in Capacity Planning and Provisioning, Performance Monitoring, Planning and Tuning and audits.
• Collaborates with cross-functional IT teams, ensuring timely and compliant solutions and providing training to support them for all the items related IT&T Network, Telecommunication and Security Support Services.

The Qualifications and the skills required for this position are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; a Master’s degree will be an asset.
• Cisco CCNP or higher are required; HPE/Aruba, Checkpoint, F5 certifications and network programmability with Python or Ansible are desirable.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Ethernet/IP technologies, including 3+ years in Routing & Switching, Network Security, Load Balancers/WAFs, and Wireless Networking.
• Strong operational knowledge, troubleshooting, and hands-on network implementation experience.
• Excellent both oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Proven analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and customer-focused, with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
