Atlantic Bulk Carriers Management Ltd. is a leading shipping company, continuously investing in technology, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. We are looking for an innovative, hands-on AI Expert / Python Specialist with 3–5 years of proven experience in designing and deploying machine learning and NLP solutions. The ideal candidate has delivered production-grade AI projects and can translate business needs into intelligent, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy AI/ML and NLP models for automation, analytics, and decision support

• Build and fine-tune LLM-based applications and AI agents (e.g. ChatGPT API, LangChain, CrewAI)

• Process, analyze, and visualize structured and unstructured data from SQL databases, files, and APIs

• Develop and maintain AI pipelines and REST APIs integrated with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, custom databases)

• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for internal/company data

• Apply MLOps practices (model versioning, deployment, monitoring) to ensure scalability and reliability

• Automate business workflows using Python, Power Automate, or similar tools

• Collaborate with IT, management, and business units to deliver AI-driven solutions for shipping and logistics

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, security, and ethical AI standards

• Keep up to date with new AI tools, frameworks, and LLM capabilities and propose improvements

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in AI/ML, NLP, or applied data science with proven end-to-end project delivery

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science

• Strong Python skills and experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and NLP tools (OpenAI API, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain)

• Experience in AI application development and API integration with ERP or other enterprise systems

• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data preprocessing / feature engineering

• Familiarity with FastAPI / Flask / Streamlit for building and deploying AI services

• Knowledge of MLOps (Docker, Git, CI/CD, monitoring)

• Understanding of cloud AI services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Team player, proactive, eager to explore and apply new AI technologies
