Senior .NET Web Developer

Lead the design and delivery of scalable .NET Web applications and integrations that connect enterprise content management platforms with core business systems, while guiding best practices across the team. The role spans solution architecture, secure API development, workflow automation, and mentorship, with a focus on ECM systems.

Role overview

The position owns end-to-end delivery across analysis, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and operationalization of .NET-based services and connectors for ECM platforms. Work closely with team analysts to translate requirements into secure, maintainable solutions that automate document lifecycles, permissions, and metadata management. Provide technical leadership through code reviews, standards, and coaching junior engineers

Key responsibilities

- Architect and develop ASP.NET Core and .NET 6/8 services and Web APIs that integrate with ECM platforms (OpenText) using REST/SOAP, webhooks, and standard auth

- Drive the full SDLC: requirements analysis, technical specs, implementation, automated testing, debugging, deployment, and documentation with an emphasis on quality and reliability.

- Lead code reviews, refactoring, and mentoring to improve code quality, maintainability, and team capability.

- Configure and integrate ECM features including metadata schemas, permissions, versioning, retention, and search aligned to business and compliance needs.

- Implement robust data access with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, including performance-aware querying and optimization.

- Establish and improve CI/CD workflows with Git-based repositories and quality gates to ensure consistent, repeatable releases.

- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure operational stability of ECM-integrated services.

Requirements

- 3+ years of professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core and Web API in enterprise environments.

- Web programming experience, preferably Javascript, Vue.js, Bootstrap

- Hands-on ECM experience with SharePoint or similar platforms, including configuration, integration, security, and workflow automation.[5][6]

- Strong API integration skills across REST and SOAP using JSON/XML, with practical knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC and related security patterns.

- Proficiency with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core, including schema design and query performance fundamentals.

- Proficient with Git and comfort collaborating in agile teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate requirements into maintainable technical designs.
