We are currently seeking to employ for the IT Division, a talented “Junior System Administrator” who has strong practical troubleshooting skills, good overall systems knowledge, to monitor and enhance IT infrastructure with an emphasis on availability, reliability, scalability, security, data confidentiality and system integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, develops, maintains, upgrades and repairs Windows servers, storages, virtual environments (VMs) and network equipment
• Performs daily operational support and event monitoring of all information systems and services, including Windows AD, DNS, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Office 365, Mail server ,Microsoft Sharepoint, and other enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoots hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Performs regular backup operations and implements appropriate processes for data protection, compliance with security and any other regulatory requirements
• Performs systematically database checks and addresses any resulting errors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/certifications in Computer Science or related field
• Experience of at least 1 year in similar position
• Working experience in MS Windows Server
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall configurations
• Good knowledge of MS SQL Server, Microsoft Infrastructure, IIS , Apache
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Ability to learn new IT technologies & methodologies
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong communication skills both in Greek and English

It would also be a plus if you have one or more of the following

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge using C#
• Knowledge with web development tools like WordPress
• Good knowledge of HTTP, HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript technologies
• Good understanding of relational databases concepts & SQL knowledge
