Relational Financial Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Workload Automation Engineer to join its dynamic team. In this role, you will design, implement, maintain, and optimize automation processes using leading tools such as Control-M and Automic, ensuring seamless workflow management and enhanced operational efficiency. Your expertise will help identify bottlenecks, resolve performance issues, and create automation strategies aligned with business needs.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess workload demands, and deliver tailored automation solutions that support continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement workload automation solutions using Control-M and/or Automic WLA.
• Create and maintain job scheduling definitions, dependencies, and calendars.
• Monitor and manage automated workflows for performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Shell, Python, PowerShell) to automate tasks and processes.
• Integrate automation tools with applications and databases.
• Collaborate with application teams to define automation requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve job execution and scheduling issues.
• Maintain documentation for workflows and automation procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new automation tools and technologies.
• Perform maintenance and updates on existing automation frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience with workload automation/job scheduling tools (Control-M, AutoSys, Automic, or similar).
• Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
