Job Overview


We are currently looking for a Junior IT support Technician for our premises in Greece. The successful candidate will be the first contact for all internal support of hardware and software matters.

Employees are hired solely based on a specific vacancy’s requirements, taking into consideration the qualifications, previous experience and potential of each individual candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages 
  • Ensure the good functionality and arrange the maintenance of CCTV, security systems, power generators and back up systems 
 

Basic Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as IT Technician or relevant position
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Microsoft Active directory, Exchange servers administration and Cisco Call Manager knowledge
  • Fluency in both Greek and English 
  • Excellent communication ability

Good to have

  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
