Are you ready to discover the role of a Senior Cloud Security Engineer in Netcompany?

Joining us as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be a part of the vibrant team of our highly skilled Cybersecurity Technology Department of the Information Security organization. Your everyday life will mainly consist of designing and implementing Cloud Security Solutions.

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer you will:

• Be a security stream leader for large-scale Data Lake projects.
• Design, implement, and manage security architectures for Data Lakes with a strong focus on data encryption, IAM, and compliance.
• Secure Azure Kubernetes environments, ensuring adherence to best practices in container security.
• Collaborate with Data Governance teams to enforce secure and compliant data management, including classification, lineage, and regulatory compliance.
• Secure data ingestion from multiple sources (legacy systems, third-party integrations) using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and OpenShift.
• Design and implement network security solutions within Azure (VNet, NSG, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer) and integrate with external firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Imperva).
• Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Backup strategies for Azure-based applications and data using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Conduct security assessments, risk evaluations, and policy development in collaboration with GRC teams.
• Lead security design reviews and work closely with business and technical stakeholders to implement robust security frameworks.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Cloud Security.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University degree in Computer Engineering or another relevant field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in data security and cloud security engineering.
• Data Security: Expertise in Data Lake Security, data protection through encryption, Identity and Access Management (IAM) on Azure. Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes environments on Azure. Familiarity with Data Governance practices (data classification, compliance, lineage) and collaboration with Data Governance teams to ensure secure and compliant data management.
• Data Integration & Connectivity: Understanding of integration challenges with source systems (e.g., legacy systems, third-party integrations). Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and OpenShift for data ingestion.
• Network Security and Firewalls: Experience in implementing security architecture in Azure environments, with strong knowledge of Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, Application Gateway). Experience with Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, and other Azure networking services.
  Familiarity with external firewalls.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup: Designing and implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) and Backup strategies for Azure applications and data to ensure high availability and data integrity. Experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and other DR solutions.
• Security Assessment and Design: Ability to drive the creation of security assessments for the project, including risk evaluations, security policies, and compliance requirements, in collaboration with GRC teams where necessary. Experience in leading security studies and collaborating with stakeholders to implement robust security frameworks.
• Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written).

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• Familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) and its role in building and securing Data Lakes, as well as an understanding of how IBM technologies (like IBM Db2, IBM Watson Studio) integrate with Azure services.
• Security Professional certifications in one or more of the required qualifications (eg. Microsoft Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-900, SC-900).
