Cyber Security Operations Analyst

The Position:

As part of the Group Information Security Division, you will be responsible and accountable for:

• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of cyber defense mechanisms, including endpoint and network detection & response (EDR and NDR), anti-malware tools, and penetration testing & vulnerability assessments
• Monitoring security events, managing security logs, and ensuring the protection of critical data and systems
• Responding to information security incidents (incl. IDS/ IPS, WAF, DDoS, DLP) conducting investigations and implementing lessons learned to prevent future incidents
• Ensuring compliance with security hygiene standards, managing technical vulnerabilities, overseeing patching and backup processes and updating/ configuring firewalls to protect against threats
• Implementing and managing access control policies to cover the full spectrum of access management

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in security operations or a related role.
• Good understanding of cyber defense mechanisms, incident response procedures, and access control practices, with the ability to support investigations and contribute to containment and recovery efforts.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with security tools and technologies such as EDR, anti-malware platforms, vulnerability scanners, and basic penetration testing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Sound judgment and balanced risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of the English language.
• Excellent teamwork and project management skills.
• Understanding of modern information technology systems and cybersecurity.

Qualifications considered as an asset:

• MSc in Information Security, Cyber Security, or a closely related field
• Relevant entry-level certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Microsoft SC-200, or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to pursue further certifications and training in cyber security operations and incident response
