Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for deploying & supporting Telecom OSS software solutions.

Hard Skills:

• 5 years experience in programming with Python
• Knowledge of and experience working with Linux
• Knowledge about network stacks, technologies and transport protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, HTTP, Websockets, REST, SOAP, maybe knowledge in SNMP, DHCP, TR-069, DOCSIS)
• Messaging and streaming technologies (e.g. MQTT, AMQP, Kafka, MapReduce, RxPY)
• SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MogoDB, Redis, maybe experience with Cassandra or Aerospike)
• Web Technologies (HTML5, Javascript (e.g. NodeJS, AngularJS, maybe experience with RiotsJS or React))
• Desirable knowledge: MongoDB, Zope, Django, TR-069

Soft skills:

• Results and success driven, entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and used to work independently
• Proven experience and success track in managing complex telco projects
• Able to communicate and deal with C-level management
• Ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English
