Corporate Services Systems Engineer
The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate Services Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team. This role is responsible for the management, implementation, and support of various cloud systems and services across the company.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud technologies, system security, and enterprise-level IT operations, with a proven ability to provide Level 2 & 3 troubleshooting and guidance.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Manage and administer various IT cloud systems, including implementation and advanced troubleshooting (L2 & L3)
- Deploy and manage patch management solutions for Microsoft and third-party software, providing regular reports and handling emergency patching procedures
- Oversee Microsoft Azure services and other cloud providers (PaaS and SaaS solutions, subscriptions, and services)
- Manage Intune MDM for Windows 10, macOS, iOS, and Android endpoints
- Administer Azure Active Directory, including Premium AD features, Identity Protection, Group Management, and Conditional Access
- Oversee Office 365 enterprise products (SharePoint, Teams, Compliance, and Security tools)
- Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across enterprise applications
- Maintain the Enterprise Access Control Matrix to enforce role-based access controls
- Conduct system audits and health checks for compliance, performance, and security
- Research, implement, and maintain system hardening solutions in collaboration with the Information Security Department
- Participate in vulnerability hunting, compliance enforcement, and environment enhancements
- Liaise with external partners for smooth operations, project delivery, and service improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support full system lifecycles, including procedures and work instructions
- Provide technical mentorship, training, and advisory support for the IT Service Desk team
- Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, incident/problem/change management, and service level tracking
- Research and recommend new systems or improvements to meet business needs or improve efficiency
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of managed systems
- Deliver services and support across any of the Group’s companies as directed by the Line Manager
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Information Technology or any other relevant degree
- 2-5 years’ experience in a Systems Administration or relevant position
- Strong team player, good communications skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to cope with stress and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and efficient
- Deep understanding of the following:
- Security Hardening & Patch Management
- Cloud Systems Management: Azure
- Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Win 10 & Mac OS
- Microsoft 365 Products
- Scripting Skills
The following will be considered an advantage:
- Experience of AI tools and applications will be considered as an advantage
- Experience with patching third party applications (e.g. ManageEngine, Patch My PC)
- Experience with security hardening techniques (e.g. CIS Benchmarks, NIST)
