Atlantic Bulk Carriers Management Ltd. is a leading shipping company, continuously investing in technology, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. We are seeking a passionate and skilled AI / Python Specialist to join our IT & Digital Transformation team.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for automation, analytics, and decision support
Work with Python frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, FastAPI) to deliver production-ready solutions
Process, analyze, and visualize structured/unstructured data (SQL databases, files, APIs)
Build and maintain AI pipelines and APIs integrated with enterprise systems
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to define AI use cases in the shipping industry
Apply MLOps practices (versioning, deployment, monitoring) for scalable AI solutions
Support and improve internal automation scripts and tools

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience with Python programming and AI/ML frameworks
Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Experience in data science, feature engineering, and visualization
Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
Knowledge of automation tools and scripting for business processes
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Team player, proactive, and eager to explore new technologies
Preferred Certifications (a plus)
Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate

TensorFlow Developer Certificate
AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
