As a software QA engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality of the company’s software projects. You'll review specifications and collaborate closely with development teams, create and execute test plans, cases, and automation scripts and map tests to software requirements and issue defect reports. Finally, create test reports.

Minimum candidate requirements
The successful candidates will have the following minimum qualifications:

Education
University degree or Technical Educational Institute degree in Computer Science (or related) or Applied Science with emphasis in computing

Languages
Excellent command of the English language (with emphasis on the written skills)

Experience
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in software quality assurance and test automation

Technical skills
•    Practical experience in automation testing
•    Experience in agile software development methodologies and testing procedure
•    Work experience in the creation of Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Reports and participation in Test Cycles
•    Complete understanding of the Agile Software Development methodologies

Desired candidate requirements
Any of the following will be considered as an asset:
•    Experience in Cucumber testing tool
•    Good knowledge of Java programming language
•    Experience of Unix (Solaris) and Linux OS
•    Familiar with Jira, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, SVN, GIT
•    Familiar with Waterfall model and/or Scrum framework
•    Microsoft Office suite
