The Role:
As a Fullstack JavaScript Developer, you will join a dynamic and innovative team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality applications. Your primary focus will be to develop and enhance solutions using Node.js and React on Backstage. You'll have the opportunity to share your expertise, collaborate with fellow developers, and advance your career by exploring cutting-edge technologies.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Extend and maintain advanced features on Backstage using Node.js and React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure high code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices
- Participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reliability
- Contribute to system design, architecture, and overall technical strategy
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in building applications Node.js and React
- Proven experience consuming REST APIs
- Knowledge of Postgres DB
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with Git and version control practices
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional development
- Fluency in English
The following will be considered an advantage:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tool, such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with AWS Services
- Experience with CI/CD concepts
- Familiarity with monitoring performance platforms, such as Grafana, Prometheus
