Are you ready to join the forefront of technology as a Data Cloud Engineering Manager in Netcompany?

As a Data Cloud Engineering Manager you will:

• Lead Daily Operations: Oversee and coordinate the data engineering team's day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with project priorities, in collaboration with the bank's internal management.
• Team Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across data workflows.
• Architectural Leadership: Act as a data architecture lead in key initiatives, designing scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions tailored to the banking domain.
• Hands-On Project Delivery: Contribute directly to project execution with hands-on involvement in data pipelines, platform design, ensuring high technical standards.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted expert in both data analysis and engineering practices, bridging business requirements with technical implementation in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Leadership & Team Management: Minimum of 5 years in a senior data engineering role with experience leading and mentoring teams in complex environments.
• Stakeholder Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including product owners and business managers.
• Project Ownership: Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale data projects, including planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery.
• Banking Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of banking industry operations, enabling technically sound and business-aligned solutions.
• Cloud Architecture & Engineering: Extensive experience in designing and managing scalable data architectures on cloud platforms, with skills in distributed data processing and cloud-native design patterns.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align data engineering initiatives with enterprise architecture strategies and long-term business objectives.
