Responsibilities

• Support and optimize applications.
• Act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers/stakeholders, and troubleshoot all system-related issues.
• Improve workflows and the overall efficiency of IT Service Management.
• Lead monitoring, patching, stability, and security of systems in the IT landscape.
• Collaborate with internal and regional teams to ensure resilience, performance, and service quality.
• Work autonomously with internal and external teams to successfully manage the lifecycle of challenging projects.
• Take ownership in optimizing Enterprise Architecture and delivering on project objectives and targets.
• Ensure all IT-related processes comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations (on-prem and cloud) within banking or consulting environments.
• Fluency in English.
• Good understanding of IT operations processes and automation tools.
• Capable of analyzing vulnerability scans (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Tenable) to assess risk relevance. Determines the appropriate remediation approach and either applies fixes within scope (e.g., patching, configuration changes, access control) or collaborates effectively with infrastructure, network, or application teams to ensure timely resolution and tracking.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including understanding of database structure, writing queries (T-SQL), and performing routine data analysis.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and basic routing.
• Comfortable deploying and configuring web applications on IIS 10 / Windows Server.
• Experienced with application pool settings, request filtering, and static content caching.
• Able to configure and manage SSL/TLS bindings, host headers, and URL rewrite rules.
• Can analyze and resolve common issues (e.g., 500 errors, failed requests, application pool crashes) using Event Viewer, logs, and IIS diagnostic tools.
• Familiar with basic security hardening practices (e.g., request filtering, anonymous/authenticated access).
