The Motorway Operation Services Business Unit of GEK TERNA Group is looking for a Software Development Team Leader.

The role oversees and coordinates the company’s software and systems development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises the programming team in designing and developing both existing and new software applications and systems that support the company’s operations.
• Oversees the management and maintenance of the company’s custom web applications and online services.
• Ensures proper maintenance of the company’s software and systems to maximize functionality and efficiency.
• Prepares regular reports on software development activities to keep IT management well-informed.
• Participates in the development and monitoring of the annual IT Infrastructure budget for the software team.
• Supports the IT Infrastructure Manager with HR-related processes and compensation & benefits management for team members.
• Maintains effective collaboration with all departments to ensure full support on issues related to software applications.
• Ensures compliance with HR and Health & Safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration is considered an asset.
• Minimum 6–8 years of professional programming experience, including team leadership or technical project oversight.
• Proficiency in the .NET platform and C#, with experience developing both Windows (desktop) and Web (ASP.NET) applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
• Familiarity with additional technologies such as Python, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React.js is a plus.
