About the role

emendSys, on behalf of our client, one of the big four companies based in Netherlands, we are looking for a Junior Python Developer to join our team and work on a remote basis.

Role Summary

You will participate in the implementation of client projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop new or improve existing functionality
• Write effective and scalable code.
• Enhance the performance and scalability of existing software.
• Test and debug applications.
• Perform code reviews for your team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development and as a Python Developer.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems.
• Proactive, analytical, structured and able to work independently while being part of a team.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Have fulfilled any military obligations.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Github etc)

Will be considered a plus

• Experience in Azure cloud environment (Azure functions, Databricks, etc)
• Knowledge of containerization such as Docker
