Software Service Consultant

Job Description

Reporting to the Service Delivery Dpt. manager the applicant is mainly responsible to provide technical support services to the customer base and perform deployment and configuration tasks on new and active system installations. Furthermore, the applicant will operate as part of the team that analyzes and develops new features and functionalities, contributing to the development of the application.

 

As the right person for the role, you should:

- Have a degree in Computer Sciences or similar.

- Have at least one year or more of working experience in supporting software applications.

- Have basic SQL knowledge (scripts, views, etc.)

- Be able to participate in a software deployment team, capture customer needs and prepare realistic deployment time-plans.

- Be creative, results oriented and able to meet deadlines.

- Plus, you should be keen on solving problems, whilst wanting to inspire and share your knowledge and passion for improving quality in BEL.

- Be willing to work remotely (up to 30% of total time).

- Have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

- Any knowledge of the Graphic arts or printing industry will be considered a strong plus.

 

Your day will include:

· First & Second Level Help Desk Support: Provide technical assistance and resolve customer issues.

· Manage and maintain SQL Databases. Create SQL scripts and views.

· Analyzing customer needs, associating them with the product features.

· Provide feedback to the product’ s software development team for new features and bug fixing.

· Provide deployment and configuration services, either remotely or on customer site.
