We are looking for a Network Engineer for shift 2 (5 PM to 1 AM local), that demonstrates strong customer service and troubleshooting skills to resolve all technical issues for our clients.
The Network Engineer acts as the primary interface to clients to provide level 1 or 2 technical support in time to meet Pro4ia's client SLA obligations.

The ideal candidate should have EXCELLENT British or American English accent and will be responsible for the following work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for solving computer network issues from clients and completing requests received from the Technical Services Coordinator.
Perform analysis of environments and provide level 1 and level 2 technical support through the help desk ticketing system.
Use network technology expertise to install network equipment and perform repairs for network related issues.
Confer with users or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
Participate effectively in multiple support efforts and provide technical expertise.
Set up network equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation.
Work closely with clients and the Project Management Team.
Make recommendations based on knowledge of network equipment and systems, in order to improve user experience.
Create and maintain client-related documentation.
Actively participate as a strategic member of the technology team, including participating in team meeting and providing technical support for managed service clients.
Support Sales Engineering in reviewing recommended solutions for clients.
Participate in Pro4ia internal projects as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide input to strategic Information Technology planning and implementation.
Provide daily communication to clients on outstanding ticket status.
Job requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Three or more years Help Desk experience working in a related role
Bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or other industry recognized designation
CCNP certification preferred or equivalent experience
Competency in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing networking issues on PCs and related equipment
Strong knowledge of switching, routing, VPN, Cisco, Meraki and Fortinet products
Experience with network management systems, e.g., Auvik, Solarwinds, ManageEngine, PRTG
Experience with designing and implementing cloud infrastructures in AWS and MS Azure
Basic knowledge of network engineering programming languages, ex. (PERL, PYTHON)
Expert technical and management skills with in-depth application on the Information Technology and Informatics professional environment
Ability to provide high level support in installing, optimizing, maintaining and securing of networks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask
Detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills
Desire and demonstrated ability to continuously learn new technologies
Flexible with the ability to adapt and change schedule to meet deadlines
Strong customer service attitude and prior experience in a client service role
Works well independently and as part of a team
MUST be able to perform duties independently or with minimum assistance
